There is no substitute for the real thing.

That’s why Ralco Nutrition, Inc., the global animal
nutrition company, is your only source for Regano®.

There are many imitators, but there’s only one Regano®. Regano® from Ralco Nutrition is a patented product processed under the strictest of conditions to ensure purity and quality. Imitators may be derived from petroleum and contain dioxin, a suspected carcinogen. The oregano used in Ralco’s Regano® is grown naturally in Greece, and the essentials oils are extracted using a steam process that guarantees purity.

Essential oil of oregano has two major components: carvacrol and thymol. Many imitators of Regano® contain more thymol and less carvacrol. Regano® contains at least 84 percent carvacrol, and the ratio of carvacrol to thymol ensures a synergistic effect that boosts effectiveness. There are also 34 other chemical compounds in oregano essential oil that also have a synergistic effect.

Also, there are 40 varieties of oregano worldwide, but the most beneficial comes from Greece.

Dr. Anastasios Tsinas, Regano® products specialist for Ralco Nutrition has confidence in Regano® because he has taken the time and effort necessary to ensure quality and purity. Tsinas selected the best variety of oregano from his native Greece and farmers cultivate it. Cultivating oregano in Greece, where it grows like grass, was a novel idea, but the only way to guarantee consistent quality. The oregano is harvested and a steam process is used to extract the essential oil. Steam is not the cheapest way to extract the oil, but it is the only way to guarantee the purity of Regano®.
